Why should I replace batteries in pairs on 24-volt series machinery?
When two 12V batteries are wired in series for a 24V starting system, pairing a new battery with an aged unit causes rapid failure. The older battery possesses higher internal resistance, causing the alternator voltage regulator to overcharge the new battery while undercharging the old one. We strongly advise replacing both batteries simultaneously in 24V applications.
What core return policy applies at the Austin depot?
